Squad training take place on Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings. Our sessions start at around 7pm - please see the timetable for the exact timings. Squad members are expected to commit to all training sessions or speak with a coach if this is not possible.
Senior boxers are to conduct their own RAMP warm-up and everyone should be wrapped up ready to box when the session starts.
Our sessions usually begin with activation drills and boxing specific partner work before focusing on a certain theme such as trunk defences, phasing attacks or footwork and implementing these on the bags and pads. When social distancing allows we will also apply the themes in sparring.
Training with RABC requires a base level of fitness, a good work ethic and a willingness to learn.
