Rathbone Amateur Boxing Club was pleased to announce an initiative to keep young children active during lockdown.
Following a successful programme over the Christmas holidays we ran free, weekly sessions for children during lockdown.
The project was provided by our volunteers so was completely free and everyone within the age range was welcome. Each session was led by two England Boxing qualified coaches who are safeguarding trained and DBS checked. They combined boxing technique, exercise and games for 40 minutes.
Our kid's classes will be returning at some point, we will keep this page updated with details

"My son is absolutely loving it! I can't thank you enough for doing these classes. We're considering investing in a punching bag!"
"Eden has really been enjoying these classes. They run for a perfect amount of time so she can use a good amount of energy and have the most fun. She loves learning different moves and to be able to interact with the coaches and the rest of the group."
"We were apprehensive at first as to how zoom would work but the coaches work really hard to set up each element so my son who had no previous experience in boxing knew the basics after the first class. He loved it so much we did it everyday in half term!"
Sessions are FREE but donations are gratefully accepted.
