Giving, on each class, this little extra more that will make the difference! Go team!
This week, the team went through the fundamentals of boxing, basic stance, balance and movement patterns along with the basic punches.
The team experience training different energy systems with this specific run. Plenty of running games including sprints and using army training tactics.
Intro to sparring this week, they had a controlled move around the ring putting in to practice everything they have been taught thus far.
This week's focus was combinations and how to throw them intelligently, i.e., how to put someone on their arse without getting put on your own! Action- reaction-action
All about distance and control, learning what to do at certain distances and learning that you can control your opponent without punching. Play with the range.
We worked on developing the boxer's natural flow this week, helping them stay relaxed and honing their fluidity in combat.
This week we pushed their brains by giving advanced combinations and complex scenarios. If they can pull off the tricks we taught them - their opponents are toast!
